 I am so happy you are here visiting my blog. I am a wife and mama, living in our fixer upper home on Amelia Island, FL. This home is the root of what started this blog. Our fixer upper is about 1600 sqft. - so I was finding creative ways to keep things organized and wanted to share that creative side with the world.

What started out as helping people organize has transformed into so much more. With no credit of my own, you guys have morphed Living Simply by Design into a full resource for All things Home & Lifestyle. I’m here to help you create beautiful affordable home spaces throughout the seasons of the year, find affordable beauty & fashion, and to share our little life with you. 

I try my best to always share things that will not break the bank, because that’s how I buy things for my own home and family. Basically, I have a Pottery Barn taste on a Target budget (LOL).  I truly do have a knack for taking affordable finds and making them look fancy and I love sharing that with you all!
