Hi Friends!
I have gathered some of my favorite pantry storage essentials (baskets and bins edition) for you, so that you can create your very own DIY Pinterest pantry. I personally prefer to mix basket styles to make it look unique. Also in doing that it allows you to add your personal design style and touch.
A few little tips/opinions of my own:
I really like the clear bins for kids snacks. It allows them to see exactly what is in the bin, and makes it easy for grab and go items.
The larger/round baskets are great for pantry floor storage. You can use those as “back stock” storage for extra food that won’t fit in the shelf bins, or for paper towels, toilet paper, hand towels, just anything that you store in the pantry that needs a pretty place to land.
The woven baskets are nice for storing chip bags, breakfast stuff (pancake mix, syrup, etc.), anything that you can neatly “hide” in those baskets and simply pull the basket out when you need something in there. Hint: A lot of people like to use labels on these baskets so they aren’t left guessing what is in the basket. I will save the label creation/recommendation for another post. So check back for that soon!
I love the look of the wire decorative baskets- they are so versatile. Again, great for kids (larger) snacks because they can see in there. Small snack bars are not a good fit for these type of baskets because they sometimes fall through.
I hope this was helpful in giving you some ideas to find storage baskets for your pantry! This does not cover all of the items you would need, but it’s a good start. Other items include storage for cereal, flour, sugar, brown sugar, oats, etc. etc. I am in the process of creating an entire pantry haul/DIY guide if you’re interested in checking that out. But these baskets will definitely get you a head start, and give you a breath of organized fresh air!
You can shop the items I use by simply clicking on the picture in the reel at the end of this post. Easy peasy!
*You do NOT need every single one of these items. I included a variety so that you would have options to choose from depending on your decor style/preference. I would recommend starting with a few, and coming back for more of what you need.
I also included a few of my favorite lazy susans as a bonus for storing sauces and oils in the pantry.
Check the pictures at the top of this post for examples on how I use some of these baskets in my own home!
Now, let’s get that pantry of yours organized!
