Disclaimer: giving your laundry room a fun and beautiful makeover does not mean you will do more laundry. I just told my husband that to get him to agree to the project (LOL). But seriously, this project was extremely fun, fairly easy, and made a big impact! The power of wallpaper is amazing, and if you stick around here long enough, you will see that I love utilizing wallpaper to transform a space.

For the laundry room, I wanted a super fun wallpaper print to bring much needed life to the space! We live in sunny FL, so when I stumbled upon this fun palm print wallpaper I knew it was the one. Applying peel and stick wallpaper is fairly easy. It does require patience, a smooth surface, and a tool to smooth it down as you go. I will link the wallpaper and the tool I used at the end of this post for you. Other than that, that’s really all you need.

We painted the remaining walls with agreeable gray. It’s the same paint color that we have around the majority of our home. We then added the shelves over the wallpaper for storage. I opted for the shelves so that we could have more of the wallpaper exposed. You could always hang cabinets if you prefer to have the storage items hidden.

I’ve seen laundry rooms where people have wallpapered the whole space. Our laundry room is fairly small which is why I decided to just do the main back wall. I didn’t want the print to be too overwhelming, so I think it is a good contrast against the light gray paint and white shelves.

If your laundry room needs a revamp- give the wallpaper a chance to completely transform the space! I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how something so easy can give your laundry room a new fresh look!
