Summer Makeup Favorites
Well Hello there! It’s been a heck of a week over this way. Extremely busy with a to-do list a mile long. Truth be told, I like busy weeks though. I like the hustle and bustle of feeling busy and I really don’t mind a long to-do list most of the time. Speaking of busy, I always feel most productive when I get dressed and put on makeup in the morning. I work from home, so makeup always seems optional, but on the days that I do put it on. I always feel so much better! I have found some really awesome makeup favorites lately so I wanted to share the list. My makeup routine only takes about 5 minutes, and I like the ease and low maintenance feel.
IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50+- I wear the shade light medium in this. I LOVE it. It has built-in SPF 50 so this is an awesome option for the summer months. It has excellent coverage and is just a good everyday wear foundation. I have dry skin and I feel like this is very moisturizing as well.
Foundation Brush- This is the brush I use to apply my foundation. It applies so smoothly!
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer This concealer is amazing. It’s a little more expensive than I usually prefer to spend, but a little bit goes a long way- so it’s a long lasting purchase. Worth it!
Current Fav Mascara- I really love this one because it has a curved brush so it’s a really easy application. Plus it gives my lashes plenty of volume!
Tarte Matte Lip Paint- I wear the color Exposed in this and it’s one of my favorite year round lip colors.
Loreal Brow Stylist Pencil The best brow pencil I’ve found! I like it because it has a pencil on one end and a brush on the other. So I apply the pencil and then brush it in with the brush. It gives a natural and effortless look.
Butter Bronzer- This bronzer is awesome and it smells SO good. I wear the color sunkissed.
Laura Geller Blush The best blush I’ve ever used. It has such a soft peachy shimmery look, not too bold. I’ve had the same one for over a year and I still have a ton left. Does blush go bad? Asking for a friend. LOL
That’s all I use for my everyday makeup! Super super simple, easy, and quick. For date nights or special occasions, I do wear a little more makeup, but for everyday summer wear- this is it!
