Living Room Styling Ideas- April
Hi Friends! If you’re following me on my Instagram, you know that I asked a series of questions to be able to better serve you all and help you in the areas you need help in! One of the main areas of feedback was more room styling ideas. Helping you all style a room affordably and beautifully is why I’m here and I am excited to bring you weekly room styles! As the seasons change, so will the room styles which will keep the content super fun, helpful, and relevant throughout the year! I encourage you to take a look around your home and see if you have items that look similar to items in the room styles. This would be a good starting point in helping you pick out items for your own home based off of what you already have on hand.
So without further ado, let’s get started with our first series of styling with two living room styles with some of my favorite Target finds right now: Coastal and Modern Farmhouse!
Coastal Style:
I love incorporating blues/whites, especially for a coastal feel. This room accessory design below incorporates blues, creams, and whites, with wood accents to create a cohesive beautiful look! I love how the wood baskets break things up a bit, and the pillows and throw blanket add that coziness factor. This would be a pretty look to match with sofas that are gray, white, or even a darker color like blue, or any leather color.
Modern Farmhouse:
The modern farmhouse style reminds me a lot of Joanna Gaines. Her taste is so beautiful, so I added some awesome pieces below from her Hearth and Hand collection at Target. For the modern farmhouse look, I picture wire baskets with cozy blankets, faux greenery, and a neutral color pillow combination. I also love to add faux greenery stems in vases for any decor style, but especially for a modern farmhouse look. Simple stems in pretty color vases.
Message me on IG at www.instagram.com/livingsimplybydesign if you have any questions at all on pairing items together. I am happy to help you and answer your questions.
Stay tuned for another set of styling ideas next week!
